Aerial/Drone Filming
Below is more information about the different drones I fly with:
Inspire 2 - Can record up to 5.2K (5280×2160) in ProRes and in Cinema DNG (in RAW). It comes with two lenses, a wide 15mm lens which is equivalent to a 28mm lens in full frame which has an angle of view of 72°. The tighter lens (the 45mm) is equivalent to a 84mm lens in full frame. X5s Specs: https://www.dji.com/uk/zenmuse-x5s/info#specs
Air 2S - Can record up to 5.4k (5472×3078) in 10 bit in Log (Dlog-M Video) and at different frame rates. The camera has an angle of view of 88°, a full frame equivalent to a 22mm lens. Further specs: https://www.dji.com/uk/air-2s/specs
The Inspire 2 is used on high end shoots as it features a bigger camera with a bigger sensor, an interchange lens system and the ability to record to higher quality formats such as ProRes and in RAW. The DJI Inspire 2 can be operated in a two person setup where one pilots the drone and the other controls the camera movement. The single operator setup works well for simple drone and camera moves, however the Inspire 2 really shines when it is a dual operator setup. This allows you to achieve more complex camera and drone moves choreographed together.
